BASICS OF MAKE UP
wheneva u start make up.. u have 2 prepare a good base for it...but the first thing shud be moisturised skin...apply an oil free moisturiser.. or a baby lotion...(if u have juz taken a bath u can start with moisturizer, otherwise u need 2 do cleansing n toning too b4 moisturize
wait for around 5 mins n apply a piece of ice on ur face...ice wud make ur pores smaller.. so ur skin wont ooze out any extra oil n the make up u apply wont stuck into pores... so ice is advisable...if u dont have ice u can skip this step...follow with a foundation n a concealer...while selecting a foundation for ur face.. always choose a perfect shade or get 1 shade darker.. but if u get one shade lighter u will look fake n plastic... so choose the shade properly...now conceal the under eye dark circles... bridges of nose.. any pimple or acne mark..u can also cover dark lines around lips to look gud...ur shade of concealer shud be one shade lighter than ur foundation...in extreme cases at the most 2 shades lighter than foundation
now u have 2 decide between lips n eyes...which feature is betta in ur face...try 2 highlight that...if u wud highlight both u wud look too flashy... so work on one n keep the other minimal....after base we wud start 4m top of the face n come down, that mean...we will work on:eyescheekslips..coz if u do it down 2 up... ur hand contact will spoil ur make up......
now lets come to eyes...apply an eyeshadow...u can choose from a powder eyeshadow or cream ones...u can blend 2-3 colours if u want...or u can even add sum glitter if u r going 2 a party....but if u have decided 2 highlight lips dont make eyes dramatic...apply a coat of mascara.. u can choose from black, brown or wide variety of colors..to make lashed dramaric.. u can add silver or gold mascara to lashes a bit...now comes eye liner...working with eyeliner is a bit difficult though u need patience n practice...if u r 1st time make applier, dont try it on last moment.. practice it b4...u can apply kohl for more dramatic or mysterious look...
now comes the blush...for normal occasions.. u can choose neutral shades like pink, browns etc...to apply a blush.. dip ur brush into powder...try 2 smile... now wateva is the highest point on ur cheeks thats called apples of cheeks...u have 2 apply blush on this part n always work strokes going upwards...if u want a bit dramatic look u can experiment with colours or add shimmer or bronzer
for lipsticks...start with lipliner...apply witha brush if the lipliner is in creamy form...or u can use lip liner pencils...now fil the lipstick with a brush... using lip stick brush gives betta results....if u want ur lipstick 2 last longer apply a bit of compact powder on it, n reapply the lipstick...if u wanna make them dramatic add shimmer...u can top it up with lip gloss... its optional..howeva many ppl prefer juz lip gloss.. they dont apply lipstick n juz have gloss..but keep in mind gloss needs 2 retouched almost every 2 hrs... so keep it in bag wid u
now apply compact properly...no where it shud be excess...neva forget ur neck which preparing for base or applying the powder...u don wanna look divided at neck......if the neck of dress is deep of have a wide cut.. then cover those parts too while applying make up n u r done, beautiful :)
